Visa Requirements & Eligibility

Do I need a visa to visit the UAE?

Indeed, if your nationality grants no visa-free entry or visa-upon-arrival, acquiring a tourist/visit visa is a prerequisite to entering the UAE.

You may apply for a short-term visit visa (example: 30 days), a longer stay visa (example: 60 or 90 days), a single entry or a multiple-entry visa for tourism/visit purposes, and in case applicable, a visa-on-arrival for certain nationalities for a cost.

Generally, the requirements include a valid passport (valid for a minimum of six months), passport-size photos, a filled visa application form, flight itinerary or return ticket, proof of accommodation (hotel booking or host address), and any other requisite documents.

Your passport should have a minimum validity of six months from your travel date/entry into the UAE. A passport with less validity may result in the refusal of the visa or not being allowed to enter.
Yes, underage people need a visa, too. The same procedure for visa application is valid for children; passport and valid documents must be provided (and sometimes an additional birth certificate or guardian’s consent may be required for minors)
