- Since 2022, the UAE has decided to rebuild its overall visa system. The new UAE visa rule changes allow people to enter the country without a host or sponsor. Visitors can choose the type of Dubai Visa they need according to their requirements. This will be a handy option for expatriates revisiting the country.
What are new possible entry permits into UAE?
- Visit Visa – An individual can extend the UAE Visit Visa to 60 days, unlike the previous one, which was 30 days.
- 5-year Multi-entry Tourist Visa – In addition to the standard Dubai Tourist Visa, a five-year multi-entry tourist visa has been introduced, which the UAE travel organizations will sponsor. You can apply for a UAE Visa Online through a Dubai Visa Services provider.
- The only requirement for this visa is that the claimant should have $4000 or an equivalent amount (when converted) 6 months before the application. Travelers under this visa category can visit the UAE multiple times over five years, with a maximum stay of 180 days per year.

GCC passport holders do not need a visa to enter the UAE. However, non-GCC nationals who are residents in GCC countries must apply for a GCC Resident Visa.
Important Notice:
At this time, Bangladeshi passport holders are not eligible to apply for a UAE visa due to high rejection rates and current entry restrictions. Additionally, applicants holding a Pakistani passport may face a high chance of rejection, and visa approval is not guaranteed.
Please also note that nationals from Libya, Somalia, and Afghanistan are currently not permitted to apply for UAE visas.
Furthermore, individuals holding a travel document (not an ordinary passport) are not eligible for UAE visa applications under current regulations.

Update for Nigerian Applicants: Age Requirement & Refundable Security Deposit
Applicants holding Nigerian nationality must be 40 years or older to apply for a UAE visa. A refundable security deposit of $600 is also required. This amount will be fully refunded after departure from the UAE, provided all conditions are met.
